DHCP Detector

Introduction

Occasionally somebody reaks havok on the network by starting up an extra DHCP server. Without proper tools, it can be difficult to find the offending device. This script detects DHCP servers on the local network.

If you want to develop other DHCP applications, all the hard work is done. This application contains a rough implementation of the DHCP network protocol.

Requirements

Simple Equation requires PHP 4.3.0 or greater with sockets enabled.
